Japan is the third-largest economy in the world after the USA and China, with a population of approximately 125 million people. Japan is committed to the development and adoption of green technologies. Finland and Estonia have good relations with Japan and also have an advanced green technology sector.
FINESTJAP aims to boost and generate new exports from Finland and Estonia to Japan. The scope of the project comprises of Green Technology SMEs in the fields of low carbon energy, energy efficiency and storage, green construction and smart technologies.
Project aims to create for Finnish and Estonian SMEs new business deals in Japanese markets. A secondary target is to introduce marketing or organizational innovation aiming at the Japanese market, such as to apply new marketing approaches. The SMEs will also gain knowledge of the Japanese business culture and obtain visibility in Japan together with other participating companies in the project.
