Leap4Growth

Many small and medium-sized companies in the Central Baltic region have the capacity to grow internationally, but lack the networks, market knowledge and support needed to enter these distant and complex markets. Leap4Growth was created to address this challenge by helping SMEs explore and access two high-potential Southeast Asian markets: Vietnam and the Greater Bay Area via Hong Kong. These regions are seeing strong demand for innovation in sectors like greentech, healthtech and digitalisation, areas where Central Baltic companies excel.

Through mentoring, targeted market insight and business delegations, Leap4Growth supports SMEs in taking real steps toward export and international growth. Leap4Growth builds on the successful Bridging4Growth project, using a similar approach but focusing on new, strategically important markets.

Expected results

Leap4Growth will support 100 SMEs from Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia with tailored tools and activities to prepare them for export. The project aims to lead to at least 20 concrete business deals in Southeast Asia, while also equipping participating companies with lasting international know-how and connections.

By working across borders, the project creates stronger export ecosystems and collaborations between countries in the Central Baltic region. Leap4Growth will strengthen the global competitiveness of the region’s SMEs and support a more connected and sustainable innovation landscape.
