From Central Baltic, with results — A letter from Balt-Plast-Free and BalticPFASResolve
Interreg Central Baltic has supported over one hundred projects since the start of the 2021–2027 programming period. These projects address diverse themes and regional needs, yet they all share one powerful approach: people working together across borders.
Throughout 2025 and 2026, we are pleased to share greetings from selected projects in the form of letters. The letter below comes from MikseiMikkeli, partner in Balt‑Plast‑Free and BalticPFASResolve, two Programme Objective 4 projects reducing microplastics and PFAS in wastewater, among other sources, before they reach the Baltic Sea.
This letter was submitted by Emmi Liikanen, Communications specialist at Mikkeli Development Miksei.
